Today in class we read a poem written by Gwendolyn Brooks called "We Real Cool". I personally like the poem, it doesn't seem too complex, and there wasn't too many stanzas. We even broke it down together as a class which is something I have trouble with doing by myself so it was a relief to have help from my teacher. Today's lesson actually felt more interesting than any other lesson that I've been in so far even though it was more him speaking and us listening. The assignment for the night was pretty easy, got it done within 20 minutes with no problem. That's all.
