To the upcoming AP English Language and Composition students, my advice to you would be to pay attention. Missing one day of class feels like you're missing an entire semester. Make sure you are always attentive in class. It does help in the long run and it WILL come in handy on the exam. Another thing would be to practice on new skills. Apply the skill you just learned, that way you can improve your writing. It helps condition yourself, making you a better writer. Blog posts are also important even if they feel useless. Do every single one. Even if you're writing about how boring class was, something is always better than nothing. The class itself is not hard, as long as you remain focused you'll pass easily.
